Summary: Crockett is a Minneapolis native who was all-state in preps at highly successful Totino-Grace High School (graduated in 2010). He's had a hand in North Dakota State's past three FCS titles after watching the Bison claim their first in 2011. Crockett set a school record with 2,419 all-purpose yards and ranked third in FCS with 1,994 rushing yards in 2014. He finished second in school history with 4,309 rushing yards, powered by 20 games with 100 or more rushing yards.

Stacking up: Crockett is another player adding to the depth of this year's running back class. Lance Zierlein wrote that Crockett "has hip explosion and enough suddenness to shake a downhill safety and long speed to finish with a big play." DraftNasty, whose editor-in-chief is **former Viking Corey Chavous**, ranked Crockett as the 17th highest-graded running back in the field and offered this "Nasty" take: "Fearless leader who motivates teammates and can catch the ball effortlessly. Has some lower body explosion."

"Taz" on TV:Nicknamed "Taz" because his nonstop movement resembles the "Tasmanian Devil" cartoon character, Crockett is one of six prospects that is being featured in ESPN's *Draft Academy *series, a four-week run of episodes that air Tuesdays at 6 p.m. (CT). The other prospects on the show are from FBS schools: Jameis Winston, **Melvin Gordon**, **Todd Gurley**, **Shane Ray** and **Devin Smith**.
