Summary: After two seasons of limited opportunities (11 carries for 65 yards), Cobb's workload increased dramatically over his junior and senior seasons, and he showed he was up to the challenge. Cobb rushed 237 times for 1,202 yards and seven scores as a junior and followed by setting school single-season records in attempts and rushing yards as a senior. Cobb's career included 13 games with 100 or more yards rushing, and the Gophers were 9-4 in those contests.
