Profile
Summary:Although he's a bit undersized at 5-foot-10 and under 190 pounds, Lewis proved himself to be a pesky cover corner while at Michigan. He missed the first three games of his senior season but returned to garner All-American honors and help lead the Wolverines to the Orange Bowl.
Lance Zierlein of NFL.com said Lewis is an "ultra-competitive with an overwhelming drive to succeed. Allowed just seven catches in 2016 for completion percentage against of 23.3. An annoyance from press coverage. Squats on top of his target waiting to punch and impede. Twitchy feet can stick and close to ball instantly when he reads pass. Able to flip hips and accelerate quickly."
Stacking up: Chris Burke of *Sports Illustrated *has Lewis as his No. 6 overall cornerback and said "Lewis is among the smallest of the bunch, but he mirrors receivers' routes incredibly well with his quick feet and finishes plays." NFL Media analysts Mike Mayock and Bucky Brooks do not have Lewis ranked as a top-five cornerback in the draft.
A helping hand: Lewis is Michigan's all-time leader in passes defensed with 45.
