Profile
Summary:Floyd is the definition of long and lean at 6-foot-6 and 244 pounds. He displays solid quickness and can make plenty of plays in space. Although he could bulk up his wiry frame, he has plenty of raw skills and ability to rush the quarterback.
Lance Zierlein of NFL.com said Floyd has "substantial pass rush potential." According to Zierlein, "as an edge rusher, (Floyd is) able to shoot out of the starting blocks and cover substantial ground with long second and third strides. Pet move is upfield burst followed by jumpcut inside tied with inside club. Able to dip and rip around the corner."
Stacking up: NFL Media analyst Mike Mayock ranked Floyd as his second-best edge rusher, moving him up from his initial fourth spot. Fellow analyst Bucky Brooks has Floyd as the No. 2 prospect as a hybrid rusher. Daniel Jeremiah ranked Floyd at No. 18 in his list of the top 50 prospects in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Recent success: A possible first-round pick, Floyd would be the 10th Georgia linebacker selected in the draft since 2010, the Bulldogs' most-drafted position during that time.
