Profile

Summary:Cook made waves early on as he became the first Florida State running back to break the 1,000-yard barrier in his first season at school. Known for his elusiveness and athleticism, Cook increased his rushing total each season, eventually setting a Seminoles single-season record in 2016 with 1,765 rushing yards while also putting himself atop the school's all-time list.

**Lance Zierlein of NFL.com** wrote Cook "uses choppy feet and compact stride length downhill. Keeps feet under him and is able to make lateral cuts at a moment's notice. Flourished in zone, gap and power schemes at FSU. At his best running wide while setting up lead blockers. Slows flowing safeties and linebackers with hesitation steps and glances back inside. Has run-away gear around the corner he keeps tucked away for special occasions."

Stacking up: NFL Media analyst Bucky Brooks has Cook as the No. 2 prospect at the position. Chris Burke of Sports Illustrated has Cook as the top running back in the draft, noting that the running back is "a dynamic playmaker capable of delivering splash plays as a runner or receiver."

Alone at the top: Cook set Florida State's career rushing record in November by surpassing Warrick Dunn's mark of 3,959 yards.
