Plays with disciplined eyes and good balance between high-low responsibilities in zone. Good short-area acceleration to close out receivers and attack throwing lanes. Reactive athleticism helps erase coverage mistakes."
Stacking up: NFL Media analysts Mike Mayock and Bucky Brooks both have Humphrey listed as the draft's second-best cornerback. Brooks had him in that spot before and after the combine, while Mayock moved him up a spot from his pre-combine list. Chris Burke of *Sports Illustrated *ranked Humphrey at No. 5 on his cornerbacks list.
Family ties: Humphrey's father, Bobby, ranks second in Alabama history with 3,420 rushing yards and was a two-time All-American running back. He was a first-round draft pick by the Denver Broncos in 1989.
