EDEN PRAIRIE, MINN –The Minnesota Vikings head into their Week 2 matchup against the Detroit Lions with two members of the squad listed on the injury report, RB Jerick McKinnon (ankle) and DT Shamar Stephen (knee) were both full participants in this week's three practices and both are listed as probable for Sunday's game. A probable listing means it's a virtual certainty that they play.
The Lions enter their second game of the season with a longer injury report, LB DeAndre Levy (hip) did not participate in this week's practices and is listed as doubtful heading into Sunday's game, DT Haloti Ngata (shoulder) didn't practice on Wednesday and was limited in Thursday and Friday, Ngata is questionable against the Vikings. DT Caraun Reid (ankle) and CB Darius Slay were limited in this week's practices, Reid is listed as questionable and Slay is probable.
Offensively for the Lions, TE Brandon Pettigrew (Hamstring) was unable to practice this week and is officially listed as out for this Sunday's game, WR Golden Tate (quad) sat out Wednesday's practice and participated on a limited basis Thursday and Friday, Tate is probable to play against the Vikings. G Larry Warford (ankle) was limited in practice both Wednesday and Thursday before fully participating in Friday's practice and is probable to play on Sunday. QB Matthew Stafford, who was listed with a right upper arm injury was a full participant in all three Lion's practices this week and is probable to play on Sunday.
