San Francisco won the first coin toss of the 2018 season on Friday.
The 49ers and Oakland Raiders needed a coin flip at the NFL Scouting Combine to break a tie in their order of finish in 2017 to determine selection order for the 2018 NFL Draft.
Fans may remember the Vikings were **similarly involved in a coin flip** at last year's combine to break a tie in determining selection order.
The annual selection meeting is scheduled for April 26-28, and the Vikings currently have seven selections.
Minnesota was awarded **two compensatory picks*** *last week, picking up a pair of sixth-round selections. It is the first time since 2012 for the Vikings to enter a draft with compensatory picks.
