NFL Expert Picks: Vikings Favorites in Final Home Game

The Vikings (9-5) host the New York Giants at the University of Minnesota Sunday.  Minnesota holds a -52 record at home while New York is 3-4 on the road. We scoped the web to see what the experts were predicting for the Vikings-Giants matchup Sunday.

The Giants are barely alive in the playoff race –- and might be done by kickoff -- while the Vikings are likely in and could win the NFC North. But if they want a shot to win the division against Green Bay in Week 17, they have to win here. They do. Teddy Bridgewater is playing much better.

Depending on how the Philadelphia-Washington game goes, the Giants might not have anything to play for by kickoff on Sunday night. The Vikings, however, are still fighting for the NFC North title, and I think they'll turn in a good game on both sides of the ball.

The Giants have two great players and 51 who are average at best. And one of the great players has been suspended. And that pretty much sums this one up.

If the Vikings beat the Giants (or Green Bay loses at Arizona earlier in the day), Minnesota will trek to Lambeau Field next week with a division title on the line.

If the Giants have anything going for them in this game, it's that the Vikings don't have an aerial attack capable of fully exploiting their marshmallow-soft, league-worst pass defense.

Of course, without Beckham, the Giants passing attack isn't going to terrify anyone, either.

Can't wait for Lambeau.
