EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings (9-2) on Saturday elevated tight end Nick Muse and cornerback Nahshon Wright from Minnesota's practice squad for Sunday's Week 13 game against the Arizona Cardinals (6-5).
Muse had quite the week. He was activated from Injured Reserve on Nov. 23 to the 53-man roster and played at Chicago in Week 12, appearing on six snaps on offense and 12 on special teams after returning from a hand injury in Week 2.
The 2022 seventh-round pick turned 26 on Tuesday, but the Vikings needed to place him on waivers to free up a roster spot. After clearing waivers, Muse re-signed with Minnesota.
He will join tight ends T.J. Hockenson and Johnny Mundt while the group is without Josh Oliver for the second consecutive game because of an ankle injury.
Wright will be active for the first time as a Viking. He was acquired earlier this year in a deal that sent cornerback Andrew Booth, Jr., to Dallas.
Wright appeared in 32 NFL games with the Cowboys from 2021-23. He has totaled 37 tackles, one tackle for loss, five passes defensed and an interception.
