Eagan, Minn. (October 18, 2024) The Minnesota Vikings and Mystic Lake Casino Hotel announced today a 10-year extension, keeping the brands connected through at least the 2035 NFL season.

As the first tribal-owned casino to partner with an NFL team and the seventh Founding Partner for the Vikings inaugural 2016 season at U.S. Bank Stadium, Mystic Lake's original 10-year partnership included the unveiling of Mystic Lake's Club Purple. The first-of-its-kind, 28,000 square-foot space, which holds more than 1,000 fans and includes lounge-style seating, three bars and an outdoor balcony overlooking the Minneapolis skyline, quickly became one of the stadium's most popular locations. In 2019, Mystic Lake expanded its footprint at U.S. Bank Stadium with Little Six Casino's Club Gold. Along with the two club spaces, the first eight years of the partnership has led to several impactful community-based initiatives, including collective efforts around the NFL's annual Crucial Catch game, scheduled to take place again this Sunday when the Vikings face the Detroit Lions.

"Mystic Lake's unique and longstanding relationship with the Minnesota Vikings is centered on delivering exciting and memorable experiences to our guests and all Vikings fans," said Angela Heikes, president and CEO of the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community Gaming Enterprise, which operates Mystic Lake Casino Hotel and Little Six Casino. "We are thrilled to renew and expand our role as the official casino partner of the Minnesota Vikings. We look forward to working with the Vikings on community-based initiatives that are important to each of our organizations and new ways to engage football fans, both inside and outside of U.S. Bank Stadium."

"This partnership has been built on trust, collaboration and innovation, which makes this extension so important for both the Vikings and Mystic Lake," said Vikings Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer John Penhollow. "We are grateful to Mystic Lake and the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community for their support and partnership over the past eight years since opening U.S. Bank Stadium. Together, we have been committed to creating memorable experiences for our respective stakeholder groups while supporting meaningful community programs and activations. This partnership extension is a testament to the power of our shared values and a bright and exciting future."
