EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Saturday elevated running back Myles Gaskin and defensive lineman Jonah Williams for their Week 2 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Gaskin will be elevated from the practice squad for the second consecutive week. He played five snaps on special teams, but he didn't return a kickoff. All three of New York's Week 1 kickoffs resulted in touchbacks.
Gaskin also played two snaps on offense, rushing one time for a loss of 3 at the end of the game. He has played in 42 NFL games.
Williams will be active for the first time in 2024 after joining Minnesota as a free agent.
The former Los Angeles Ram has played in 41 NFL games with 22 starts. He played 31 and 33 defensive snaps, respectively, in two games against the 49ers last season, totaling nine tackles and a quarterback hit.
