Last Saturday marked the day the entire 2015-2016 MVC squad waited for.  Everything we have worked so hard for was finally being showcased. For myself and my fellow 12 rookie members of the MVC it was a day years in the making.  Finally, it was game day at TCF Bank Stadium! From the moment I woke up my stomach was filled with nerves and uncertainly but nothing could top my excitement. It was game day!

My highlight of the day was running out of the tunnel through those Viking's ship doors for the first time.  No matter how many times my teammates told me about that moment I don't think I could truly prepare for it. It is a moment I never will forget! Running through those doors onto the field with the fans screaming with excitement was such a rush.

There were numerous moments throughout the night when I had to stop, look around the stadium and remind myself where I was.  There I was fulfilling my dream of cheering for the Minnesota Viking's in front of 50,000 fans. The Viking's pushed through the 90 degree heat to roll past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 26-16.

I can hardly wait for the next time the clock ticks down and I get to run out of that tunnel with my 34 amazing teammates to cheer on the best team in the NFL. Skol Vikings!
