Every year, the MVC complete hundreds of community appearances throughout the course of the season, and the month of August was no exception.
With all of the excitement surrounding Verizon Vikings Training Camp at the new Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center in Eagan, the MVC were in attendance for every day of the fun. Cheerleaders greeted fans, took pictures, signed autographs, sold calendars and interacted with young people at the U.S. Bank Kids Zone.
The MVC teamed up with Vikings Women and helped pack meals during the VIP MATTER Event, attended a VIP event during a training camp practice and participated in another energy-filled Workout Wednesday with a workout right up our dancers' alley: Dance Jam!
Another favorite type of appearance among the MVC is when we can inspire and motivate future Vikings Cheerleaders. In August, the women helped out with the MVC All-Star auditions during the week of the Junior Cheer game. The MVC also helped lead a cheer clinic at the Life Time Fitness (Eden Prairie) by leading stretches, teaching new cheers and putting on a performance for parents.
The MVC attended a Benefit for Maksin, the 3rd Annual Can Do Canines Fundraiser and a SKOL Service Pep Rally. In addition, the MVC visited the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital, welcomed families back to school and presented a check on behalf of U.S. Bank Places to Play to build a new park ice rink, amongst many other events.
The cheerleaders are always so honored and excited to be a part of everyone's events, and we look forward to upcoming months of fun appearances with the best fans in the NFL.
