In the leadup to the 2024 NFL Draft, Vikings.com is taking a look at prospects who have garnered a range of attention from national outlets. The series will include rankings by those national outlets, stats and background information for multiple prospects.
Vikings status at wide receiver
A number of familiar faces remain in the Vikings receiver room entering the 2024 season.
Justin Jefferson, who shined on both ends of his injury-affected campaign, is preparing for his fifth season in Purple. The 24-year-old racked up 458 yards through the Vikings first three games of 2024. In Week 5 against the Chiefs, he suffered a hamstring injury that sidelined him until Week 14. Jefferson totaled 392 yards over Minnesota's final three games.

Jordan Addison, Minnesota's first-round pick in 2023, had an impressive rookie year, appearing in all 17 games (14 starts) and recording 70 catches for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns.
K.J. Osborn departed in free agency, signing with the Patriots in March, but the Vikings opted to re-sign free agent Brandon Powell, who will be entering his sixth pro season and second with Minnesota. Powell had career highs of 29 catches for 324 yards last season, scoring a touchdown at Atlanta, and he also served as the team's punt returner.
Minnesota signed veteran Trent Sherfield, who has played in 95 games with the Cardinals (2018-20), 49ers (2021), Dolphins (2022) and Bills (2023) after entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent.
Daylen Baldwin, N'Keal Harry, Lucky Jackson, Trishton Jackson, Malik Knowles, Jalen Nailor and Thayer Thomas are the other receivers on the roster ahead of the draft.
