*CHICAGO — *Marcus Sherels' 65-yard punt return for a touchdown in the first quarter gave the Vikings a 7-3 against the Bears on Sunday at Soldier Field.
It also placed the Minnesota native atop the record books in punt returns for touchdowns with three in his five-year career.
Sherels fielded the ball cleanly and accelerated quickly, zooming to his right. He raced down the Bears sideline, and rookie Danielle Hunter walled off Bears punter Patrick O'Donnell.
Sherels had a 77-yard return against Detroit on Sept. 30, 2012 and an 86-yard punt return for a TD against the New York Giants on Oct. 21, 2013.
