EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Tuesday officially placed rookie safety Lewis Cine on Injured Reserve.
Cine underwent successful surgery earlier in the day in London to repair a compound fracture he suffered Sunday in Minnesota's 28-25 win over the New Orleans Saints.
The 2022 first-round pick will remain in London until he is ready to return to Minnesota.
The Vikings announced linebacker Ryan Connelly has been activated from the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list.
Connelly, an Eden Prairie native, has appeared in 30 total games with the Giants (four in 2019) and Vikings (26 from 2020-21).
Minnesota also announced the practice squad terminations of defensive lineman Jaylen Twyman and receiver Travis Toivonen.
