The "Letters to Bud" project all started with a child's letter that had prompted a response from Bud Grant.
Now in the final chapter, it seems only fitting to conclude the content series with letters from the "younger generation."
There's something especially endearing about the unassuming innocence of a young person writing a letter to an eventual Hall of Famer. From 8-year-old Brandon Vincent, whose letter was short and sweet and accompanied by a crayon creation of Tommy Kramer, to Connee Campion, who scrounged babysitting money to attend Vikings games at Metropolitan Stadium and wrote to advise Grant, each childhood letter brims with character.
Take a look at six young people who looked up to Grant in one way or another and then, more than 30 years later, walked down memory lane upon the discovery of their letters to the legendary coach.
