Justin Jefferson has reached the top 5 on the Vikings all-time receptions list.
Jefferson entered Sunday's Week 16 game at Seattle with 474 career receptions, just five shy of passing Anthony Carter (478 from 1985-93) for 5th.
He got the five-spot on six targets in the first half when he totaled 52 yards.
Jefferson tied Carter with a 14-yard touchdown from Sam Darnold to put Minnesota up 14-7 with 5:50 remaining in the second quarter. He passed Carter on his next catch, a 7-yard reception on third-and-20 to set up a 52-yard field goal by Will Reichard.
Minnesota finished the first half with a 17-14 lead.
The player next on the receptions list is Vikings Ring of Honor tight end Steve Jordan, who totaled 498 catches with Minnesota from 1982-94.
Cris Carter has the record at 1,004, followed by fellow Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss (587).
