The Minnesota Vikings (6-5) on Monday elevated veteran linebacker Anthony Barr from their practice squad for tonight's game against the Chicago Bears (3-8).
The team also ruled out Justin Jefferson, who had been listed as questionable because of a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 5.
Jefferson is nearing the end of a 21-day evaluation period that opened on Nov. 8. He has been ramping up activity at practice, but now will not return until after Minnesota's Week 13 bye.
Barr **re-joined the Vikings** in Week 11 after linebacker Jordan Hicks was placed on Injured Reserve for a leg injury that occurred against the Saints. Hicks required a procedure for compartment syndrome, but the reports on his wellbeing have been good.
Barr played in Minnesota's game last week at Denver. He played 12 snaps and recorded one tackle on a third-down play to force a Broncos field goal.
This will be his first game at U.S. Bank Stadium since the 2021 regular-season finale in which he recorded 11 tackles and two sacks against the Bears.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:15 tonight on ESPN's Monday Night Football.
