Vikings Sign LB Jordan Kunaszyk, Waive Jabril Cox

EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Tuesday announced the signing of linebacker Jordan Kunaszyk and waived linebacker Jabril Cox with an injury designation.

Kunaszyk (pronounced kuh-NAW-shick) joins the Vikings for his sixth NFL season after spending time with the Carolina Panthers (2019), Washington Commanders (2020-21) and Cleveland Browns (2022-23).

Kunaszyk originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2019, appearing in nine games for the Panthers during his rookie season. He saw action in 17 matchups in two seasons with Washington and played in 20 contests, including two starts, during the past two seasons in Cleveland.

In his career, Kunaszyk has played in 46 games (two starts) and recorded 45 total tackles, including two for loss, one pass defensed and one forced fumble.

Cox joined the Vikings earlier this offseason but suffered a groin injury in Saturday's preseason opener.
