EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Thursday announced they have signed veteran punter Jordan Berry.
The 30-year-old is joining Minnesota after spending the previous six seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Berry has appeared in 91 regular-season games with a career average of 44.4 yards per punt. The 45.8 yards per punt by Berry in 11 games last season was the highest average of his career. In seven playoff games, Berry has averaged 40.1 yards per punt.

A native of Melbourne, Australia, Berry punted at Eastern Kentucky from 2009-13.
The signing of Berry, who worked out with the team Thursday, followed the release of veteran punter Britton Colquitt, who has played 11 seasons with Denver (2010-15), Cleveland (2016-18) and Minnesota (2019-20).
Colquitt averaged 45.1 yards per punt in 32 regular-season games with Minnesota and also delivered quality holds on field goals and extra points.
