*The Tonight Show *host Jimmy Fallon is known for finding fun and interesting ways to feature professional athletes on late night television, including his weekly "Superlatives" segment. During the skit, Fallon highlights the week's prime time NFL matchup carried by NBC and doles out superlative labels high-school-yearbook style to a handful of players from each team.
In preparation for Sunday's Wild Card showdown, Fallon poked some good-natured fun at several players from the Vikings and Seahawks rosters. Seattle's targets included quarterback Russell Wilson, defensive end Michael Bennett and tight end Luke Willson, among others.
On the Minnesota side, several Vikings headshots made an appearance, including kicker Blair Walsh, punter Jeff Locke and tackle Linval Joseph. Walsh, whose likeness was compared to members of the band One Direction, played along and responded as a good sport on Twitter:
Walsh finished the regular season No. 1 in the NFL for field goals made (34), and now he and the Vikings are heading into their first playoff game since 2012.
At the end of the day, Walsh is the one smiling.
