The Minnesota Vikings have announced their lone inactive player for Week 16.
Here is who won't suit up against the Rams:
WR Ihmir Smith-Marsette
Adam Thielen (ankle) and C.J. Ham (hamstring) will play despite dealing with injuries. Thielen, who was injured on the first drive in Detroit in Week 13, has missed the past two games.
Rookie quarterback Kellen Mond is active for the first time this season. He was a third-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and has been inactive for every game in 2021.
Mond is active because backup quarterback Sean Mannion was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Sunday morning. Minnesota also placed tackle Rashod Hill on the list.
The Rams announced the following players are inactive:
QB Bryce Perkins
RB Cam Akers
LB Chris Garrett
OLB Terrell Lewis
DB Antoine Brooks
FS JuJu Hughes
