MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Vikings have announced their list of inactive players for Week 5.
Here is who won't suit up against the Lions:
QB Kellen Mond
WR Ihmir Smith-Marsette
RB Dalvin Cook
G Wyatt Davis
DT Michael Pierce
DE Patrick Jones II
Anthony Barr will make his season debut today. The linebacker has missed the past 18 regular-season games with a torn pec suffered in Week 2 of the 2020 season (14 games) and a knee injury (Weeks 1-4 this season).
Cook was listed as questionable on the final injury report of the week.
Pierce underwent an MRI on his elbow and didn't practice all week. Smith-Marsette also missed practice all week with a toe injury.
Mond has been inactive for every game this season. Davis is inactive for the second consecutive week.
The Vikings on Saturday elevated CB Tye Smith as a standard elevation and activated G Dakota Dozier and CB Parry Nickerson as COVID-19 replacements. Cornerbacks Harrison Hand and Cameron Dantzler are on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
