MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Vikings announced the following players will be inactive for their Week 7 home game against the San Francisco 49ers:
Safety Lewis Cine
Cornerback NaJee Thompson
Tight end Nick Muse
Outside linebacker Andre Carter II
Guard Ezra Cleveland
Tackle Hakeem Adeniji
Cine, Muse and Adeniji were inactive in Weeks 5 and 6, as well.
Carter played against the Chargers and at Carolina but was inactive in Weeks 1, 2, 5 and 6.
Cleveland was ruled out Friday, ending his consecutive regular-season starts streak at 45, which was the longest current run among Vikings offensive linemen.
Thompson has totaled 75 special teams snaps through his first six pro games.
Rookie Jaren Hall will be Minnesota's backup QB behind Kirk Cousins for the third consecutive week after the Vikings placed Nick Mullens on Injured Reserve.
49ers Inactives
San Francisco announced the following players will be inactive:
Tight end Brayden Willis
Receiver Deebo Samuel
Running back Tyrion Davis-Price
Linebacker Jalen Graham
Tackle Trent Williams
Defensive lineman Kalia Davis
The 49ers also declared Brandon Allen as inactive, but he will serve as the team's emergency QB if Brock Purdy and Sam Darnold must leave the game because of injuries.
This means the Niners will be without a star receiver and left tackle, but San Francisco will have running back Christian McCaffrey available.
