Eagan, Minn. (February 20, 2020) – The Minnesota Vikings have added Roy Anderson to the coaching staff as assistant defensive backs coach and Imarjaye Albury as assistant defensive line coach.

Imarjaye Albury (im-MAR-jay AL-berry) enters the NFL coaching ranks as the Vikings assistant defensive line coach in 2020. Albury comes to Minnesota after three seasons of coaching in the college ranks. Prior to arriving in Minnesota, Albury spent the 2018 and 2019 seasons as a defensive graduate assistant at the University of Arkansas, where he worked primarily with the defensive line. In addition to assisting the defensive line coach and defensive staff in game planning and practice management, he aided in recruiting for the Southeastern Conference program. While at Arkansas, he coached and tutored defensive lineman Armon Watts, who was selected by the Vikings in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft following a seven-sack season in 2018.

Roy Anderson joins the Vikings staff in 2020 for his 15th NFL season after most recently serving as the lead defensive analyst for the 2019 NCAA CFB National Champion LSU Tigers. Prior to his lone season with the Tigers, Anderson spent the previous 14 years in the NFL, primarily coaching defensive backs. His most recent professional stop was with the Chicago Bears as the safeties coach in 2017-18. Anderson also coached the secondary for four seasons with Indianapolis (2012-15), joining the Colts after seven seasons (2005-11) with the Baltimore Ravens.
