EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings will host the Packers at 7:20 p.m. (CT) Sunday in the 117th Border Battle.
The game is scheduled to air nationally on NBC's Sunday Night Football and mark the **sixth consecutive season** in which one of the games between the teams will be shown in prime time.
The Vikings (5-4-1, 1-1-1 NFC North) are ahead of the Packers (4-5-1, 1-1-1) by a game in the standings for second place in the division, but both teams are chasing Chicago (8-3, 3-1).
Minnesota would be the **No. 6 seed** and earn the final of two Wild Card berths in the NFC Playoffs if the postseason began this week.
This renewal of the rivalry can be a rubber match in multiple ways. It's the 57th time for the game to occur in Minnesota, and each team has claimed 28 wins in previous contests. The teams also fought to a 29-all tie in Green Bay in Week 2.
The Vikings are 3-2 at home, and the Packers are 0-5 in road games this season.
