It's time for some Madden rankings!
EA Sports revealed rankings for players on all 32 teams on Tuesday morning, roughly one month before Madden 2019 will be released on August 10.
The Vikings had numerous players with high marks, but the top-ranked player was safety Harrison Smith with a rating of 97. The 2017 First-Team All-Pro who can line up anywhere on the field was given a 96 rating for his awareness.
Everson Griffen was given an overall rating of 92. The defensive end, who received a 94 grade for his play recognition, set a career high with 13.0 sacks in 2017 to make his third straight Pro Bowl.
Shutdown cornerback Xavier Rhodes also received a 92 rating. The former first-round pick was a First-Team All-Pro in 2017, and he was given a grade of 95 for his man-to-man skills.
Wide receiver Stefon Diggs was Minnesota's highest-rated offensive player with a 90 rating. Diggs' juke-move rating was a 96.
Linval Joseph also had a 90 rating. The run-stuffing defensive tackle received a 97 ranking for his strength, considering the two-time Pro Bowler routinely takes on multiple offensive linemen by himself.
Vikings cornerback Trae Waynes was listed as the fastest Viking with a 94 rating. Rhodes, Diggs, running back Latavius Murray and wide receiver Stacy Coley each had a 91 speed rating.
Wide receiver Adam Thielen and tight end Kyle Rudolph tied for the best hands on the game with a 93 rating. Thielen was rated as an 88 overall player, while Rudolph received an 86.
