Khalfani Muhammad (5-7, 174), pronounced CAL-fawn-ee, joins Minnesota's practice squad after spending Weeks 7-11 with the Arizona Cardinals. Originally selected by Tennessee in the seventh round (241st overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft, Muhammad spent the 2018 offseason with Tennessee and New England after being on the Titans' practice squad in 2017. The California product signed to Denver's practice squad in December of 2018 and remained with the team in 2019. Muhammad played in 45 games with 13 starts during his four seasons at Cal from 2013-16 and ranks second on Cal's all-time list in kick returns (87) and kick return yards (1,931) while his 4,575 career all-purpose yards are third. He posted the top rushing season of his career as a senior in 2016 with 827 yards rushing on 152 carries, both career highs.
