Garrett Bradbury is soaking in his first offseason as a father.

The Vikings center and his wife Carson welcomed their daughter, Blake, in October 2023 and have been enjoying new adventures as a family of three.

They've maintained a fairly quiet offseason in Scottsdale, Arizona, appreciating ample sunshine during daytime outings, and traveled to Miami for Brian O'Neill's wedding. Mostly, this time has been focused on making family memories.

This is our fourth installment of "Offseason Diaries" which gives a glimpse into players' adventures with loved ones before football starts back up. Earlier this month, we featured Josh Metellus and his family’s trip to Disneyland, Camryn Bynum's international travels and work in the Philippines, and Andrew DePaola's mix of business and family time at the NFLPA meetings.

Note: The below diary entries were written by Garrett and Carson from their perspective.

This offseason has looked quite a bit different than previous ones! Carson and I wanted to share with you some of our favorite activities from this spring, the majority of which we've enjoyed in Arizona (shout-out, Delta!).

Baseball games

We took Blake to her first baseball game to watch her Uncle Jackson [Kowar] pitch for the Seattle Mariners against the Chicago White Sox. This game was at the White Sox spring training facility outside Glendale, Arizona. The Mariners spring training field is located in Peoria, Arizona.

Uncle Jackson gave her the game ball, which she loves to play with!

Pool days

We are soaking up as much sunshine and pool time in Arizona as we can until we head back to Minnesota for OTAs (Organized Team Activities).

This was Blake's first time in the pool.

Waste Management Phoenix Open Golf Tournament

We "Managed the Waste" at the Waste Management Phoenix Open Golf Tournament.

Did you know the WM Phoenix Open is home to the most iconic hole on the PGA TOUR – the famed 16th Hole Coliseum?

This wasn't a baby-friendly sporting event, so Blake stayed home while Carson and I attended.

Zoo day!

We really don't think Blake had any idea where we were, but we had to take her to the Phoenix Zoo with some of our friends.

It's sunny and consistently 75 degrees in Arizona this time of year, so going to the zoo was the perfect excuse to spend some time outside and get to see some cool animals!

Celebrating the O'Neills

We traveled to Miami for Brian and Bryn O'Neill's wedding on March 16. We got to see a lot of friends and some of my current and former Vikings teammates, including Kyle Rudolph, Ben Gedeon and Pat Elflein.

We spent the day at the beach before heading to the ceremony and reception.

Golfing, of course

I am trying to get some golf rounds in, and I'm looking forward to a Minnesota summer golf season when we get back to the Twin Cities!

We're loving our first offseason with Baby Blake, and at the same time I'm looking forward to getting back to work with this year's team.
