The Vikings will host the 49ers and NBC's Sunday Night Football at 7 p.m. (CT) Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium in the third preseason game for both teams.

Vikings SKOL Chant**
The Vikings will continue the "Vikings SKOL Chant," a version of the "Vikings War Chant" that was made famous by the Iceland men's national soccer team after its return from the Euro 2016 this summer. Aron Gunnarsson, the captain of Iceland's national team, and Thor Bjornsson, a native Icelander and "The Mountain" from Game of Thrones, helped pass along this new tradition in the regular-season opener. Vikings alumni and military members in uniform will be featured.
MVC Junior Cheer Performance
More than 400 young people will participate in the MVC Junior Cheer Performance on the field before Sunday's game. Young ladies have practiced their routine with the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders, and new this year, more than 20 young men will perform as junior flag runners.

U.S. Bank Hometown Hero:During each home game, U.S. Bank and the Minnesota Vikings will recognize one individual who has helped make our community a better place. We will honor a Minnesotan who has gone to extraordinary measures.
Tonight's Hometown Hero is Brennan Miland.
Brennan is a rising junior at Grand Meadow High School. Diagnosed with a brain tumor at age 8, Brennan played one game as a freshman but hasn't played since because of chemotherapy. Recently, Brennan was told he is able to undergo a procedure and play this season. Brennan is joined tonight by his entire team, the 2016 9-Man State Champions.
Autographs:Vikings Legends will sign autographs from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at multiple locations inside U.S. Bank Stadium.

The Delta Vikings Village will be open from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday to fans with and without tickets (Note: The Vikings Longhouse will not be open Sunday).

Chuck for Charity – The Vikings new social impact department will be raising money for the Vikings Foundation by challenging fans to make a 30-yard throw to an inflatable target. Winners will receive prizes of varying types each game. The social impact department will be selling game-day T-shirts with proceeds also going to the **newly launched Minnesota Vikings Foundation**.
High School Football Skills Competition – (4-6 p.m.) Each of the 2016 Minnesota State High School Football Champions from all seven classifications are scheduled to participate in a football skills competition to crown the 2017 Minnesota Vikings Skills Champion.
The teams will compete in contests that measure prowess in passing, catching and overall athleticism. The two teams with the best cumulative score will compete in a timed relay on the field during halftime of the game, and the winning team will receive a $2,500 grant for its football program from the Minnesota Vikings.
The 2016 State Champs were Grand Meadow (9-Man), Minneapolis North (A), Caledonia (AA), Lourdes (AAA), Benilde-St. Margaret's (AAAA), Elk River (AAAAA) and Totino-Grace (AAAAAA).
Social Impact Partner of the Game – Tackle Cancer will be collecting donations for Randy Shaver's Tackle Cancer campaign during the pre-game activities. Fifty volunteers will be wearing purple shirts with a Vikings/Tackle Cancer logo. Volunteers will arrive at the 10x10 tent by the stage at 3:30 p.m.
Food Vendors –There will be three food trucks on The Commons, offering a variety of options.

A First Aid tent will be located on the southeast end of The Commons at the corner of South 5th Street and Park Avenue.
