MINNEAPOLIS — The Vikings defense recorded three interceptions and four sacks on Sunday, helping Minnesota defeat Green Bay 23-10 in the 114th Border Battle.

Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr hit Aaron Rodgers on the Green Bay quarterback's fourth pass of the day. Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone, and Martellus Bennett dropped the second-and-9 pass. Brett Hundley relieved Rodgers and finished 18-of-33 passing for 157 yards and a passer rating of 39.6.

Xavier Rhodes, Harrison Smith and Trae Waynes each recorded interceptions of Hundley.

Minnesota improved to 4-2, and Green Bay fell to 4-2 on the season.

Vikings backup quarterback Case Keenum made his fourth start of the season for Sam Bradford and finished 24-of-38 for 239 yards with one passing touchdown and an interception (passer rating of 78.7).

Jerick McKinnon rushed 16 times for 69 yards with a rushing and receiving touchdown.

Smith recorded 1.5 sacks, Brian Robison totaled 1.0, Everson Griffen notched one for a sixth straight game, and Linval Joseph had 0.5 sacks.

Minnesota outgained Green Bay 351 to 227 and totaled 24 first downs, compared to 14 by the Packers.

The Vikings opened the second quarter with a screen pass from Keenum to McKinnon. "Jet" caught the ball at the 29-yard line and burst away from Clay Matthews en route to the end zone for a 27-yard touchdown. It was the longest receiving score of McKinnon's career.

The play was set up by Rhodes' first interception of the season. Rhodes corralled a pass by Brett Hundley that was intended for Geronimo Allison and tipped by Mackensie Alexander.

McKinnon opened the Vikings following possession with a 20-yard run but fumbled on the following play. The ball was scooped by Matthews and returned 67 yards. Laquon Treadwell hustled to catch Matthews from behind and forced a fumble, but the ball landed out of bounds.

Green Bay took over at the Minnesota 18-yard line, and Hundley connected with Davante Adams for a 14-yard touchdown three plays later to tie the game at 7 with 10:40 left in the first half.

The Vikings responded with an 84-yard drive, drawing a 42-yard pass interference call on a pass intended for Adam Thielen on the first snap to flip field position.

After a play that was initially called a 14-yard reception by Kyle Rudolph and reversed, Keenum connected with Thielen for an 11-yard gain. Keenum then hit Rudolph for 16, and Latavius Murray rushed for 7 yards to Green Bay 8-yard line. The Vikings moved to the 2 on a 6-yard shovel pass to Rudolph, and McKinnon had enough steam to make it across the goal line on a 3-yard rush.

The Packers were able to add a 26-yard field goal by Mason Crosby with 1:51 left in the first half to cap a 30-yard drive. The possession started after Damarious Randall picked off a pass that was tipped by Packers linebacker Blake Martinez.

Minnesota built on a 14-10 halftime lead with a 36-yard field goal by Forbath and outgain Green Bay 123-21 in the third period.

Forbath added a 34-yard field goal to open the fourth quarter and end a possession that included a 25-yard gain on a one-handed grab by Treadwell.

Smith ended the Packers next possession with a diving interception that he returned 19 yards to the Green Bay 35. Forbath was true on a 53-yard field goal four plays later for a 23-10 lead with 10:47 remaining.

Rodgers left the game midway through the first quarter with a broken collarbone after a hit by Barr. Rodgers tried to connect with Martellus Bennett, but Bennett dropped the football to set up a third-and-9.

Rodgers was replaced by Hundley, who was intercepted on his first pass attempt.
