Week 5 at Giants

The Vikings had lost two of three games, but got their first road victory in 2019 thanks to a big day from the offense. Minnesota earned a 28-10 win behind 490 yards of total offense. Kirk Cousins threw for 306 yards and two touchdowns, both to Adam Thielen, who added 130 receiving yards. Dalvin Cook had 218 total yards of offense. Anthony Barr had an interception and recorded a safety while Danielle Hunter recorded a pair of sacks. Dan Bailey kicked four field goals for Minnesota.

Week 6 vs. Eagles

Kirk Cousins and Stefon Diggs torched the Eagles through the air as Minnesota stayed perfect at home in 2019. Cousins threw for 333 yards and four scores, with Diggs (seven catches for 167 yards and three touchdowns) on the receiving end most of the time. The Vikings also ran for 122 total yards against a unit that entered as the NFL's top rushing defense. Mackensie Alexander and Everson Griffen had interceptions for the Vikings, while Anthony Barr recovered a fumble forced by Eric Kendricks.

Week 7 at Lions

The Vikings picked up their first NFC North win of the season thanks to another offensive outburst. The Vikings put up 503 yards of total offense, with Kirk Cousins throwing for 337 yards and four touchdowns. Stefon Diggs had seven catches for 142 yards, while Adam Thielen, Kyle Rudolph, C.J. Ham and Bisi Johnsoneach had touchdown catches. Danielle Hunter and Everson Griffen each had sacks, while Trae Waynes had an interception.

Week 8 vs. Redskins

Minnesota finished off a perfect second quarter of the 2019 season with a win over Washington on Thursday Night Football. Dalvin Cook amassed 171 total yards and scored a rushing touchdown to lead the offense. Kirk Cousins was an efficient 23-of-26 for 285 yards and no interceptions. Dan Bailey was good on all four field goals as Minnesota's defense allowed just 216 total yards. Danielle Hunter had a strip-sack recovered by Shamar Stephen, and Anthony Harris had his team-leading third interception.
