EAGAN, Minn. — For the second time in three days, the Vikings have added to their defensive backs room.
Minnesota on Wednesday signed veteran cornerback Fabian Moreau, who is listed at 6-foot and 204 pounds.
To make room for Moreau, the Vikings waived linebacker Abraham Beauplan.
Moreau brings 106 games of experience, including 56 starts, to Minnesota. He has previously played for Washington (2017-20), Atlanta (2021), the New York Giants (2022) and Denver (2023).
Moreau entered the NFL as a third-round pick (81st overall) in 2017 after playing college football at UCLA, where he overlapped with former Vikings linebackers Anthony Barr and Eric Kendricks.
With Washington, Moreau appeared in 60 games and made 18 starts, recording 125 tackles, one tackle for loss, three forced fumbles, six interceptions and 14 passes defensed.
He started all 16 games he played for the Falcons in 2021, when he recorded 61 tackles, three tackles for loss and 11 passes defensed.
Moreau started 11 of the 14 regular-season games he played for the Giants in 2022 and posted a career-high 66 tackles. He added 10 passes defensed that season, helping New York make the playoffs.
Last season, Moreau started 11 of 16 games played and totaled 46 tackles, a tackle for losss, seven passes defensed and an interception, picking off a Josh Allen pass before halftime at Buffalo.

The addition of Moreau occurred a day after Minnesota signed defensive back Bobby McCain, a versatile player with prior experience playing for Vikings Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores.
Those moves followed an opening week of training camp in which cornerback Mekhi Blackmon suffered a torn ACL on July 24, the first team practice. Veteran Shaq Griffin is dealing with a soft tissue injury in his left leg, which he suffered on July 25.
Minnesota also is mourning the loss of rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson, who passed away during a July 6 automobile accident. Jackson's funeral was held July 26 in Maryland.
The Vikings already had signed cornerbacks Duke Shelley and Jacobi Francis since the start of camp.
