EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Monday announced the signings of defensive end Everson Griffen and running back Ito Smith.
Defensive end Janarius Robinson, a fourth-round pick in 2021, was placed on Injured Reserve.
Minnesota waived undrafted rookie linebacker Christian Elliss and veteran quarterback Danny Etling a day after the team waived receiver Warren Jackson and cornerback Dylan Mabin.
The Vikings also placed undrafted rookie defensive tackle Jordon Scott, who recorded an interception against the Colts, on the Waived/Injured list.
Linebacker Cam Smith, who announced his retirement last week, was officially placed on the Reserve/Retired list.

Ito Smith is joining the Vikings after spending the first three seasons of his career with the Falcons. The 2018 fourth-round pick has totaled 689 yards and six touchdowns on 175 carries and added 314 receiving yards on 55 catches.
