EAGAN, Minn. – The 2020 NFL Combine is in the rearview mirror, and the Vikings are now turning their attention ahead to free agency, which will open with the new league year on March 18.
While Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman, coaches and staff work to make tough roster decisions, players are enjoying a bit of down time before returning to the grind.

Weatherly extends a challenge to fans
Stephen Weatherly has many interests and hobbies outside of football, including music, robotics and baking.
The defensive end regularly encourages others to venture outside of their comfort zone and try new things, and he recently posted a challenge to Twitter. Weatherly requested ideas for new things he should try his hand at while also asking fans to post videos of themselves branching out, as well.
Rudolph attends local basketball game
Tight end Kyle Rudolph attended the Mounds View boys' basketball game on Wednesday. The Mustangs defeated the Irondale Knights 65-56 in the sectional playoff game.
Thielen opens another gym
Wide receiver Adam Thielen, along with Ryan and Heidi Englebert, helped open another ETS Performance gym. The ETS North Metro location opened in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
Thielen has trained with Ryan over the years and has partnered with the Engleberts on other ETS Performance gyms, including in Lakeville and Saint Paul.
Abdullah adds to a collection
Running back Ameer Abdullah posted a photo of a painting he received that combines his love for art and music.
According to Abdullah's post, he has a "growing Jimi Hendrix collection."
Kendricks visits the fast lane
In addition to celebrating his “seventh” birthday, linebacker Eric Kendricks – who has a love for cars – visited a NASCAR race track with Rams linebacker Kenny Young and spent time with professional stock car racing driver Bubba Wallace.
