David Reese II (6-1, 239) joins Minnesota after being released by the Carolina Panthers on August 22. An undrafted free agent in 2020, Reese originally signed with Carolina on April 30. A four-year starter at the University of Florida, he appeared in 46 games with 38 starts, finishing his career with 322 defensive stops (121 solo), 21.0 tackle-for-loss, 3.5 sacks and one interception. Reese recorded a career-high 16 tackles at Kentucky his senior season and earned AP All-SEC Second Team and Preseason Second Team All-SEC honors in 2019.
