With nearly a month off between minicamp and training camp, Vikings rookie Dalvin Cook tested his talents at another sport this weekend.
As part of the FSU Day festivities at Marlins Park this past Saturday, Cook threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Marlins game against the Chicago Cubs.
Cook, the Vikings 2nd-round pick, rushed for a school-record 4,464 yards during his three years in Tallahassee.
Cook, along with the rest of the Vikings rookie class, select quarterbacks, players who have yet to accrue a season and select injured players will report to Mankato for training camp on Sunday, July 23.
