EAGAN, Minn. – The Vikings are bringing back a familiar face.
Minnesota agreed to terms with receiver Brandon Powell, the team announced Tuesday.
Powell first signed with the Vikings last March as a free agent and will now suit up for his second season in Purple.
Powell primarily served as Minnesota's punt returner in 2023, totaling 289 yards on 37 returns (7.8 average).
On offense, he recorded a career-high 29 catches for 324 yards and one touchdown, as well as five carries for 17 rushing yards.
Powell first entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent signed by Detroit in 2018. He played college football at Florida, where he totaled 131 receptions for 1,330 yards and nine touchdowns for his home-state Gators. Powell also returned 33 kickoffs for 671 yards in college.
