EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings announced Monday that the team has made multiple roster moves.
Minnesota has placed three quarterbacks — Kirk Cousins, Nate Stanley and rookie Kellen Mond — as well as rookie receiver Myron Mitchell on the Reserve/COVID-19 List.
The Vikings have also placed wide receiver Bisi Johnson on Injured Reserve.
Due to NFL-NFLPA COVID protocols, Jake Browning is the only quarterback of the four who entered training camp that is currently available.
That was the case at the Night Practice on Saturday when Browning threw every single pass in team drills, including an impressive 26-of-37 passing performance in full, 11-on-11 drills.
Minnesota could look to bring in a quarterback or two for future practices.
Johnson left Friday's practice after going down in a 1-on-1 drill. He stayed on the ground for a few minutes as he was attended to by trainers. The 2019 seventh-round pick eventually walked into TCO Performance Center under his own power.
He was in street clothes at the Night Practice, and several teammates gave him hugs and well wishes before practice began.
Johnson has appeared in 32 games with nine starts. He totaled 45 catches for 483 yards and three touchdowns in his first two seasons.
Johnson was expected to compete for the Vikings third wide receiver job along with Dede Westbrook, Chad Beebe and others.
