Abdullah Anderson (6-4, 295) joins Minnesota's practice squad as a free agent after being released from the Chicago Bears practice squad on September 14. Anderson originally signed with the Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2018 and spent his rookie season on the practice squad before appearing in six games as a reserve in 2019. He recorded four tackles, 1.0 sack and 1.0 tackle for loss during those contests. A native of Galloway, N.J., Anderson started all 43 games of his career at Bucknell University, finishing with 171 tackles, 33.5 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks, four blocked kicks and 14 passes defensed. He was tabbed the 2017 Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year and Brooks-Irvine Memorial Football Club FCS Collegiate Player of the Year as a senior.
