EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Saturday activated quarterback Nick Mullens to the 53-man roster ahead of visiting the Broncos in Week 11.
Minnesota (6-4) also used standard elevations to call up linebacker Anthony Barr and cornerback Joejuan Williams from the practice squad and downgraded receiver Justin Jefferson and guard Chris Reed to out.

Mullens' activation completes his return from Injured Reserve for a back injury. He will backup Joshua Dobbs at quarterback while rookie Jaren Hall remains in concussion protocol.
Mullens appeared in four games for Minnesota in 2022 but has not played in a regular-season game this season.
Barr re-joined the Vikings this week after linebacker Jordan Hicks was placed on Injured Reserve for a leg injury that occurred last week. Hicks required a procedure for compartment syndrome, but the reports on his wellbeing have been good.
Williams spent the offseason with Minnesota and was signed off the practice squad earlier this season by Chicago. He appeared in four games for the Bears and returned to the Vikings after his release. He is poised to make his Vikings regular-season debut Sunday. Minnesota on Friday had ruled out cornerback Akayleb Evans with a calf injury.
Jefferson and Reed are within their evaluation windows but would need to be activated to the 53-man roster before they could play.
The Vikings have won five consecutive games, and the Broncos (4-5) have claimed three in a row.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. (CT) Sunday on NBC's Sunday Night Football.
