EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. –The Vikings play their final regular season outdoor home game on Sunday Night Football against the New York Giants with all 53 players available to play, as all 10 players on the Vikings injury report are officially listed as probable.
The defensive trio of S Harrison Smith (knee/hamstring), LB Anthony Barr (knee) and DT Linval Joseph (foot) all look to make their return to the field after nursing themselves back to health the last couple of weeks.
RB Adrian Peterson (ankle/shoulder) was a full participant in Friday's practice and is probable for Sunday's game after being held out of Wednesday and Thursday's practices. Fellow RB, Jerick McKinnon was a mid-week addition to the injury report Thursday with a hamstring; he was able to fully participate in Friday's practice and is also listed as probable.
CB Josh Robinson (concussion), DE Everson Griffen (shoulder) and WR Charles Johnson (ankle) all fully participated in practice on Friday, while TE Rhett Ellison (ankle) returned to practice Friday on a limited basis; all five Vikings are listed as probable.
A player listed as doubtful has a 25 percent chance of playing, a questionable listing gives the player a 50 percent chance of playing. It's a virtual certainty that a player listed as probable will suit up and play on Sunday.
The Giants have ruled out four defenders for Sunday's game; LBs Devon Kennard (foot) and James Morris (quad), DT Markus Kuhn (knee) and S Cooper Taylor (concussion) will not play against the Vikings.
Although the Giants only had walk-thru today, the players' practice status listed on the injury report is projected.
New York WR Dwayne Harris (shoulder) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game; he was listed on Friday's injury report as a limited participant.
RB Orleans Darkwa (illness), T Ereck Flowers (illness) and DE George Selvie (concussion) are all officially listed as probable heading in to Sunday's contest.
