Adrian Peterson, Stefon Diggs TDs on NFL Ballot

Adrian Peterson's 43-yard touchdown against San Diego, and Stefon Diggs' flying touchdown catch at Detroit were included among 32 plays from the 2015 NFL season that fans can select as the "Bridgestone Performance Play of the Year."

The winning play will be revealed during NFL Honors, a two-hour prime time awards special that will air at 8 p.m. (CT) on Feb. 6 on CBS, the night before Super Bowl 50. Visit **nfl.com/playoftheyear*** *to vote.

Here's another look at the two plays:

Peterson's touchdown gave the Vikings a 10-point lead early in the second half to break open a game that Minnesota won 31-14 in Week 3. He stiff-armed safety Jimmy Wilson, sped past a diving linebacker and ran through a tackle by safety Eric Weddle, cutting back across the field. Peterson high-stepped the final few strides. It was one of 11 touchdowns scored by Peterson in 2015, which tied for the most on the ground in the NFL, and helped fuel the third rushing title of Peterson's career.

Diggs' 36-yard touchdown catch also proved pivotal, giving the Vikings their first lead of the day against the Lions early in the third quarter. He executed a double move with quickness and speed to shake Rashean Mathis. The rookie took flight from the 4-yard line and stretched for the ball. He secured it before his knee touched down across the goal line and held on, despite the impact of the turf. The score gave the Vikings a five-point lead in a game they eventually won 28-19. It was a critical play in the second of a five-game win streak by Minnesota and helpful in the Vikings first road sweep of NFC North foes (the division formed in 2002).
