Tae Hayes (5-9, 188) signed to Minnesota's practice squad after being released from Miami's practice squad on November 23. He was elevated to the Dolphins active roster twice in 2020 and recorded three tackles against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 8. Originally entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Jacksonville, Hayes played in one game with the Jaguars before being released in December 2019. He went on to play two games as a rookie for Miami, totaling seven tackles (four solo) and two passes defensed. Hayes played in 52 games with 33 starts for Appalachian State and totaled nine interceptions, 33 passes defended, 135 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and two blocked kicks for his career.
