MINNEAPOLIS — Adam Thielen on Sunday set a new personal high for one season by recording his 10th touchdown catch of 2020.
And he did it one-handed.
The 2-yard score occurred in the third quarter of Minnesota's Week 11 home game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Thielen pulled in a pass from Kirk Cousins by stretching his right hand and bringing in the ball, then getting his feet down in bounds against coverage by Anthony Brown.
It was the 35th score of Thielen's career, moving him out of a tie with Vikings Ring of Honor receiver Ahmad Rashad for sole possession of the sixth-most receiving scores in franchise history.
Thielen also passed former teammate Stefon Diggs on the list of Minnesota's all-time receptions leaders.
The Minnesota native entered Sunday's game ranked 10th with 364 career receptions, one behind Diggs' 365.
The touchdown was Thielen's fifth catch of the game and gave him 100 yards on the night with 9:50 left in the third quarter.
