Allen, who was acquired in a trade with the Chargers, has enjoyed his past two trips to Minnesota. Last fall, he racked up 18 catches for 215 yards on 20 targets by Justin Herbert and threw a 49-yard touchdown to Mike Williams. Back in 2015, Allen totaled 12 receptions for 133 yards and two scores on 18 targets by Philip Rivers.

The NFL's two Byron Murphys will play one another.
Seattle drafted Byron Murphy II this spring, and the Vikings are returning cornerback Byron Murphy, Jr. The two are unrelated, but it could cause for some interesting challenges for the broadcast crew.
Perhaps even more notable, though, is that Minnesota will face a Seahawks squad not led by Pete Carroll for the first time November 2009 (Carroll took the helm in 2010), which was the last time Minnesota won at Seattle.
Macdonald most recently served as the Ravens defensive coordinator from 2022-23.

Green Bay parted ways with running back Aaron Jones, 29, in free agency after agreeing on a contract with former Raiders back Josh Jacobs, 26. Initially a first-round draft pick in 2019, Jacobs played in 73 games (72 starts) over five seasons with the Raiders, logging 5,545 rushing yards and 46 touchdowns on the ground.
Jones wasted no time signing with the division-rival Vikings and has expressed excitement about finding a fresh start in Minnesota, where he'll play at U.S. Bank Stadium for the first time as the home team.
