INDIANAPOLIS — A wide swath of Vikings leadership arrived here Monday afternoon ahead of the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.
A total of 321 draft-eligible prospects have been invited to cycle through Indiana's capital city over the next week to put their best feet forward in interviews with team personnel and media members, as well as on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The annual event, which stemmed from a desire by teams for a centralized collection of medical information, has been hosted by Indianapolis since 1987 (except for 2021 because of COVID-19).
Vikings General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and Head Coach Kevin O'Connell are scheduled to participate in podium sessions with media members and other interviews, providing updates on multiple Vikings offseason storylines before shifting to evaluation mode.
Here is information on media sessions and workouts.
- When are the media podium sessions for Adofo-Mensah and O'Connell?
O'Connell is scheduled to speak from a podium at 12:30 p.m. (ET)/11:30 a.m. (CT) Tuesday, and Adofo-Mensah is scheduled to speak at 1 p.m. (ET)/noon (CT).
Vikings.com and the team's official social media accounts will livestream those sessions (and also post them after they are complete). We'll also have an editorial recap from the sessions.
O'Connell and Adofo-Mensah are planning to participate in a separate on-the-record session with Twin Cities media members who traveled to Indianapolis this week.
