The Vikings announced their **regular season schedule*** *Thursday.
We're breaking it down into groups of four games to break the ice on Minnesota's opponents in the 2016 season.
The third grouping of games includes the Vikings alternating between road trips and home games. Minnesota will visit Washington in Week 10 before hosting Arizona. The Vikings then will start everyone's Thanksgiving buffet of football by visiting the Lions for the tradition enjoyed by Detroit. Minnesota will round out its third quarter of the season by hosting Dallas on Thursday Night Football, one of three national TV broadcasts scheduled to highlight the brand new stadium this season.

In 2015, Cousins started all 16 games and completed 379 of 543 passes for 4,166 yards and 29 touchdowns. Cousins finished the season with a passer rating of 101.6. … Redskins TE Jordan Reed led the team with 952 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in his third season with Washington. … In 2015, the Redskins defense ranked 26th in rushing yards allowed and 31st in passing yards allowed per game. … In the teams' last meeting on Nov. 2, 2014, Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater threw for 268 yards and one touchdown. For the Redskins, RB Alfred Morris led the team with 92 rushing yards. Morris departed for Dallas in free agency this offseason. Vikings RB Adrian Peterson is 3-2 against the Redskins and has been limited to an average of 51 yards per game.
